Prizes from Tracy Bilen, Katie McGarry, and Kristen Simmons

Wow—what a difference a year can make.

In January of 2011, I approached a couple of writer friends and asked them if they would like to participate in a young adult group blog. To my utter happiness, they agreed. So on March 27, 2011, I uploaded the very first post for YA Fusion titled, “Twitter and Third Grade Kickball.”

Since then we’ve added more contributors to our YA Fusion family, we’ve celebrated book releases, and we are on the verge of celebrating a few more.

Even though it is our birthday, we’d like to give our readers the opportunity to win some presents. We have four packages that we are giving away.

Package #1: What She Left Behind by Tracy Bilen notebook and bookmarks.

Package 2: A signed hardback copy of Kristen Simmon's Article 5

Package 3: A signed ARC of Katie McGarry's Pushing the Limits

Package 4: A copy of Divergent by Veronica Roth, Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi, Delirium by Lauren Oliver, and a book chosen by the winner from our list of other titles.

So, how do you win one of these fabulous packages? Comment below by Saturday April 14, 2012 by midnight eastern standard time. Please list your e-mail address in the comment.

Tell us what YA book you're looking forward to this year, tell us what you'd like to see us post about in the coming year or tell us you'd like to be entered into the giveaway. If you'd like an additional entry, twitter about this giveaway and leave the link in the comment section. Sorry, contest is only open to U.S. and Canadian entrants. Winners will be announced on Monday, April 16th.

You want me to choose one of those books as my fave to read first? That's too hard. I'm looking forward to all of them. Tracy, the notebook idea is very cool.

I am looking forward to so many books this year. Pushing the Limits is one of the books I am really excited for, as is Jennifer Echols' Such a Rush. There are also a ton of fantasy books that sound awesome like Shadow and Bone! I would really like to see more science fiction in YA, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen.

Tons of books on my list for this year. A few are Insurgent, Blackwatch, Defiance, and The Crimson Crown.
I like the Reading is Sexy. lol. I can't say I ever pictured the idea of someone reading as sexy. Come to think of it I do like to see my hubby reading. Maybe it is true.

I'd love to win Masque of the Red Death as the mystery book in package 4. Poe is my all time favourite author and I've been waiting for this book for some time now. The cover itself is artwork, and it would be an excellent addition to my collection of all things horror..

I am dying, DYING to read Pushing The Limits, Insurgent, Shine, City of Lost Souls, Before I Wake... there are just so many!!!

There are many, many YA books that I really cannot wait for, but I think the top one would have to be Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo. It just has everything going for it. It has an unbelievably gorgeous, insanely original cover. It has an absolutely fantastic premise. It has an adorable author. And it has every reviewer who's read it drooling over it like it's the best thing since sliced bread.

So, yeah, I'm just a leetle bit excited for it. :D
